At first the pairing of director Peter Jackson with the novel Lovely Bones seemed an odd match to me, but upon seeing the trailer that was just released today I am hooked. The visual imagery looks stunning as a interesting juxtiposition to the central story line.
There will be a movie tie-in cover in both a standard trade edition of the book as well as the smaller mass market size, but I am generally a purist and love the original covers. In addition there will be a special edition of Lovely Bones coming out. The beautifully packaged, limited edition of this #1 bestseller—now with a companion volume.
